Southampton vs Chelsea: Chelsea Predicted Starting XI Against Southampton: Key player returns in big boost

Chelsea are back in action this evening away at Southampton. The Blues got back to winning ways last time out with a 2-1 victory over Leicester City at Stamford Bridge.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are 6th in the Premier League table and have picked up seven points from their opening four league matches.
Here is a look at how they could line up against the Saints…
GK: Edouard Mendy
He is now in his third season with the London club.
RB: Reece James
The England ace scored against Tottenham Hotspur a couple of weeks ago and has made an impressive start to the new season
CB: Kalidou Koulibaly
He is back following the suspension he received from his sending off away at Leeds United.

CB: Thiago Silva
The veteran may well have competition for his place from potential new arrival Wesley Fofana.
LB: Marc Cucurella
He made the move to Stamford Bridge from Brighton and Hove Albion earlier this month.
RM: Ruben Loftus-Cheek
He is enjoying game time at the moment and could start for Chelsea from the off again.
CM: Jorginho
The Italy international has made 192 appearances for the London club in all competitions to date.
CM: Mateo Kovacic
Tuchel brought him off the bench last time out against the Foxes after Conor Gallagher was red carded.
LM: Mason Mount
He will be eyeing his first goal of the season against Southampton.

Like Mount, the Germany international is also in the hunt for his first goal of this new campaign.
