Man City to lure Chelsea big star to Etihad with huge contract in the summer.

Chelsea midfielder, Mateo Kovacic’s agents are reportedly talking to Manchester City over a potential permanent move of the Croatia international in the summer transfer window.

Kovacic has been a crucial figure for Chelsea since arriving from Real Madrid, initially on loan and then on a permanent basis for £40 million in 2019.

The 28-year-old, who is in the final 14 months of his current contract with Chelsea, has so far helped the Blues to lift a total of four trophies.

Kovacic has been rumoured to exit Chelsea. The likes of Manchester United and AC Milan were credited with an interest in the former Real Madrid star earlier this campaign.

Kovacic’s entourage is in London holding initial discussions with Manchester City ahead of a potential summer deal.

Man City manager Pep Guardiola is said to be a big admirer of Kovacic, who is rated at £30 million.
