Chelsea has received a huge boost ahead of the Everton game thanks to the return of four first-team players to training.

Eduard Mendy has returned to training with fellow first-team goalkeepers Kepa Arrizabalaga and Marcus Bertinelli. Reece James missed the game against Leicester City due to illness, but the English wingback is now fully recovered.

Mason Mount was also involved and will be hoping to return to the matchday squad against Leicester; the academy graduate missed the wins over Leeds, Borussia Dortmund, and Leicester due to a pelvic issue, which has since resolved.

N’Golo Kante is increasing his fitness and continuing to participate in full training as he nears a return to action. The France international hasn’t played for Chelsea since the second weekend of the season due to a hamstring injury that required surgery, but he could make his return against the Toffees.

Chelsea and Liverpool have received a significant boost in their pursuit of Argentine midfielder Alexis MacAllister ahead of a potential summer transfer move.

Mac Allister is currently considering leaving Brighton in order to join a top club. Chelsea and Liverpool are the two clubs with the most interest in the midfielder right now.

Allister has been outstanding for Brighton this season, and his stock has risen in recent months as a result of his outstanding performances. Top clubs are showing an interest in the 24-year-old playmaker.

During the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the midfielder was one of Argentina’s unsung heroes. He was instrumental in Argentina’s third world title, scoring and assisting on one goal each.
