Chelsea vs Aston Villa: The Potential Line-up That Could Give Chelsea victory over Aston Villa in the EPL

Blues manager, Graham Potter has been hit by fresh injury worries ahead of Saturday’s Premier League match against Aston Villa at their home turf.

Both Reece James and Kai Havertz pulled out from their respective national team due to thigh and illness reasons and are unlikely to make the squad for this weekend’s game, Armando Broja, Wesley Fofana, Edouard Mendy, Cesar Azpilicueta, Raheem Sterling, Mason Mount, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang & Thiago Silva are all set to play no part due to one reasons or the other.

While Edouard Mendy is closing in on full fitness from a fractured finger, Kepa Arrizabalaga is set to get another appearance in between the sticks, regardless, Marc Cucurella could displace Wesley Fofana who is a doubt due to the knock he sustained against Everton, while Benoit Badiashile and Kalidou Koulibaly are set for a spot in the back three.

James could pass a late fitness test to feature as he only withdrew from the Three Lions squad due to a precaution as Ben Chilwell bomb down the left.

Ngolo Kante is back in contention for his first EPL minutes since last year, but he’s unlikely to be given a starting berth and could be slowly integrated as Enzo Fernandez and Mateo Kovacic are paired in the centre of the park.

Christian Pulisic featured for over an hour in Chelsea’s previous match, but Mudryk will take his position with Joao Felix and Kai Havertz completing the attack.
