Chelsea To Sell this Seven Players Before Transfer Window Closes

Chelsea is still active in the transfer market as they hope to win the English Premier League ahead of two favourites, Liverpool and Manchester City.

The Blues have signed five players already this summer. Kalidou Koulibaly, Raheem Sterling, Carney Chukwuemeka, Marc Cucurella, and Gabriel Slonina were signed by the new owner Todd Boehly.

With the squad getting bigger, there are some players who should be sold before the transfer window closes in a few days.

1 Callum Hudson-Odoi

The England international has not been in good form since last season, and he has been having difficult times with injuries.

With the arrival of Raheem Sterling and Ruben Loftus-Cheek now being deployed as a right-wingback, Hudson-Odoi needs to be sold to a new club.

2 Emerson Palmieri

The Italian left-back is one of the players who are surplus to requirement at Chelsea. The addition of Cucurella and the return of Ben Chilwell from injury means Emerson needs to leave Chelsea this summer.

3 Baba Rahman

The Ghanaian defender is one of the players most fans do not remember as being in the squad. Since joining Chelsea, he has been loaned out on numerous occasions.

4 Marcos Alonso

The Spanish left-back is currently being linked with a move back to Spain, with La Liga giants Barcelona close to signing him. Alonso would not find a place in the Chelsea lineup this season which means the only left is for him to be sold.

5 Billy Gilmour

Gilmour is one of the fans’ favourites due to his ability and what he can do with the ball, but it is obviously not yet time for him to break into the Chelsea team.

A move to another club with a buyback clause added in the contract would be a perfect solution for the Scottish midfielder.

6 Michy Batshuayi

The Belgian striker is another victim of numerous loan moves, and Chelsea needs to find a permanent solution for him this season. Wolves and Everton are showing interest in signing the Belgian striker, but it should only be on a permanent move, not another loan move.

7 Kenedy

The Brazilian defender was called back from loan last season after Ben Chilwell injury, but he does not have a place in the team this season and should be sold before the transfer windows close.
