It won’t be easy though and even though the Rossoneri were far from their best last week, Chelsea will still be desperate to guard against complacency. Reports claim that Potter is going to be without three key players.

Wesley Fofana, N’Golo Kante and wide-attacker Hakim Ziyech have all stayed behind, presumably due to injuries. Hakim Ziyech hasn’t travelled with the squad due to illness, N’Golo Kante has suffered another injury setback, and Fofana is out with an injury he sustained against Milan last week.

The Blues enjoyed a comfortable win against the side from Serie A last week and will be hoping to record another victory when they visit northern Italy. AC Milan and Chelsea will square off on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at San Siro Stadium in what will be the second of two matches within a week against each other in the Champions League. Through three matches, the Blues and AC Milan are tied for second in the table for Group E with records of 1-1-1, trailing Salzburg by one point. Chelsea will be hoping to continue their recent run of good form on Tuesday night when they face AC Milan in the Champions League.

A victory could be a massive result for Chelsea against the reigning Italian Champions, with the Blues currently sitting third in one of the tightest groups in the Champions League. Only two points separate top from bottom in Group E, and a win could take Graham Potter ‘s side top. After beating them 3-0 at Stamford Bridge last week, Chelsea take on AC Milan at the San Siro today, hoping to make it four wins in a row altogether since the international break. Milan will surely be looking to make up for their lopsided defeat, and will likely pose a much sterner challenge than just a few days ago.
