Adeyemi offer planned

Chelsea are reportedly planning on making an opening bid of around £25million to sign Karim Adeyemi. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are also named as potential suitors, but it is Chelsea who CaughtOffside claims are stepping up their interest.

Plans are also seemingly in place for the player to receive a six or seven-year contract until 2030 or 2031 amid claims that the club may be bringing the Borussia Dortmund winger in as a replacement for Raheem Sterling. They reiterate that there is interest in the former England international from the Saudi Pro League, namely Al Ahli, the team Chelsea sold Edouard Mendy to 12 months ago.

football.london says: As with Conceicao, if Adeyemi is available for around £25million then it makes sense for Chelsea to be interested. After a disappointing second season at Dortmund, the Germany international could be available for a cut-price fee.

Primarily playing out wide since moving from Red Bull Salzburg, offering the opportunity to play through the middle may appeal to Adeyemi and potentially be the best way to get the 22-year-old firing again. But after playing on both the right and the left in recent seasons, he has shown versatility that would benefit the forward line.
