Chelsea has completed a £30 million deal with newly promoted Leicester City for Kiernan Dewsbury Hall. The transaction was validated by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via his X handle.
“Kiernan Drewsbury-Hall to Chelsea, here we go! Player on his way to medical today ahead of contract signing.
“Deal valid until June 2030 for KDH at Chelsea, reunited with Enzo Maresca.
“Chelsea to pay fee around £30m to Leicester City after final round of talks today.”
The 25-year-old will join new Blues manager Enzo Maresca in leaving the King Power Stadium for Stamford Bridge this summer.
Last season, Maresca led Dewsbury-Hall to 12 Championship goals and 14 assists.
The Dewsbury-Hall transaction helps Leicester significantly in achieving Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR), although it remains to be seen if they will be totally compliant.
A further deal for 18-year-old Chelsea midfielder Michael Golding to move in this route is also being concluded.
