Chelsea prepared to contend for championship

Chelsea FC's new head coach, Enzo Maresca, has said that his squad is prepared to advance and contend for championships as he ushers in a new era for the London-based outfit.

In the first interview he did at Stamford Bridge, which Chelsea posted on YouTube on Monday, Maresca stated he was excited and ready for the task.

Very joyful and ecstatic. "It will be an amazing experience," Maresca said, expressing his excitement to begin collaborating with the team.

The Italian coach, who comes to Chelsea from a prosperous time at Leicester City, emphasized the significance of spending his first week at the team getting to know the players and surroundings.

Maresca expressed especially great enthusiasm at working with Chelsea's accomplished team.

He declared, "I'm convinced that the squad is very good, which is one of the reasons I'm here."

Adding to the emphasis on individual development, the new coach said, "If you can improve players, that means that you improve the team."

In talking about his coaching philosophies, Maresca emphasized the value of having a distinct playing style.

He was keen to note that, despite his triumph at Leicester, "it's already finished now." A fresh start, a new team, a new club.

Given the lofty standards of the club, the Italian coach wants to keep Chelsea in the winning mindset. Maresca stated, "You have to understand that Chelsea is a winning club when you join."

He declared his intention to go up against the best clubs vying for championships. Maresca also emphasized the value of forging close ties with Chelsea supporters.

We must quickly establish the proper mindset and attitude that the supporters can be proud of," he said.

To foster a bond between the club and its supporters, the coach stated that he intends to employ an aggressive style both on and off the ball.

Maresca went on to say he is excited to collaborate closely with the players.

He said, "It's always different when you spend day by day with the person," emphasizing the value of forming bonds with people that go beyond what can be shown in video games.

Maresca urged patience and support in his letter to Chelsea supporters. "Just have faith in the idea and the process. With the squad at our back, we undoubtedly enjoy the trip," he remarked.
